They say they use the Nextel network.
I have a international $55 plan plus an exta $2 dls on the accout. and I could talk, txt, and walkie talkie with no roaming charges aproximatly 1-2 miles from the border. I could txt and walkie talkie with no roaming charges about 10 form the border, and I could only walkie-talkie about 100 miles from the border last place it worked was on san luis. From there on There was no signal what so ever, so even If i got extra $ on my account I could not access any network so that i could use roaming, not even the nextel network. And I know it was not in a dead zone cuz there were people next to me talking on their cell phones and using the radio on the nextel network. Currently I am in a big city Celaya, Guanajuato and still no signal on my phone.
If you are using a phone from within the states you will want to get a GSM Sim card for your phone before going to Mexico with it. If your phone doesn't have a SIM card, you will want to possibly rent a phone for your travels. Call your provider and ask them to make sure. In many cases your phone should work if it is a popular location in Mexico. First call your provider.
You might can use your Samsung S4 on Boost Mobile. You will have to call Boost Mobile and see.

how do I delete my account with boost mobile?
Yes, Boost Mobile uses the Sprint network for its coverage. Since Sprint and T-Mobile have merged, some Boost Mobile plans now have access to T-Mobile's network as well.
Depends on if the phone is locked to a certain provider or not.
