Why is Sasuke evil?

At first, he wanted power and didn't mind approaching someone as evil as Orochimaru to get it. He needed this power to avenge his clan, who were wiped out by his older brother, Itachi.

However, Tobi, under the guise of Madara Uchiha, explained to Sasuke that it was Danzo and the two Konoha counsellors, who gave Itachi that order, without permission from the Third Hokage. This has driven Sasuke to want to destroy Konoha itself also, blaming them for his clan's death too.

no he is not he just wants revenge on his brother after killing itachi. sasuke is badly hurt so Tobi finds him then Tobi tells sasuke the truth about itachi then sasuke fells bad for his brother so he starts to cry and then renames his group the taka and tries to get revenge on the leaf village.and before getting to the village he kills danzo find out more by going to naruto viz.com episodes 135,136,137,138,139,140,141 skip someepisodes 197,198,199.200,201.202,203,204,205,206,207,208,209,210,211,212 then go to naruto get.com for episodes213 and at five oclock on Thursday July 2 episode214

He thinks that he needs to avenge Itachi for what the Konoha elders asked him to destroy the Uchiha Clan, Sasuke now blaming the entire village in the process. However, Itachi made his own choices. On his "so called quest for justice", Sasuke becomes more cold, losing more and more of his former self. Hopefully though, Sasuke will change again( in a good way) and target Madara instead of the Leaf village and actually become a good person again. I hope this is true :). Sasuke is disappointing and scaring me right now:(.

I know how your feeling :(. I hate seeing Sasuke this way too, but cheer up! The series isn't over yet and Naruto has not given up on Sasuke. Deep down, I'm sure Sasuke still cares very much about Naruto and his home. Sasuke is just confused and angry right now and he is being lied to by Madara about half of everything of his so called "True Story"and he is in fact not even Madara at all, just an unknown masked imposer who is just lying to and using people to achieve his goals for peace. Sasuke doesn't even have a clue about the Moon Eye Plan and the real reason why the Tailed beasts are collected. Once Sasuke finds out about this, he will soon wake up and realize that he was being lied to and being used all this time. Hopefully, Sasuke will stop being such a jerk and help Naruto defeat Tobi once and for all and save the Ninja World from total destruction :).

Not yet! It is highly improbable that he will ever become good, because he has sworn to take revenge on Konoha for masterminding the killing of the Uchiha clan. However, he does kind of become good in the second Shippuden movie, but still wants to take revenge.

Everyone I know does think so but yes he technically has become evil. I myself don't think he's evil but that's just me talking. I'll still love sasuke no matter what =D.

Well in the beginning he is good, but then later he joined Orochimaru then he became evil.
