According to episode 440+ Pein compelled naruto to become eight tailed fox.And he was about to release the nine tails Yondaime (4th Hokage & naruto's father) stops him and converses. .. Naruto than answers the question which Akatsuki leader pein asked him (How you could bring peace to this land ?). And answered pein with the strongest Rasengan ever concieved ,thereby killing Pein.
