Of course they do! How else do you explain the sheer quantity of squirrels that everyone seems to complain about in their home town? Much like Sea Turtles and Peacock Bass, Squirrel females lay around 25-30 eggs per mating season. These mating seasons occur at predictable intervals (Every 4 months or so, beginning with the first thaw, plan accordingly). If you wanted to I'm sure you could even find a squirrel nest near your house. If you walk around your local trees, I'm sure you may spot a couple guarding their nest from any potential danger. Just sneak up near it while they're out foraging for food and snatch those suckers! Incubating them is rather simple, as you'll only need a 20-watt lightbulb and the patience of a Saint! Rest them in a cozy nest about 6-inches under the bulb, turning frequently, and soon you too can know the joy of squirrel parenthood! Babies require a steady diet of ground acorns supplemented with milk (2% only for best results), and soon enough you'll have a squirrel begging for your nuts all day.
I just caught a skunk that I believe is the one who has been getting into my chicken coop and eating the eggs for the last two weeks, I thought it had to be a coon because usually they are the only one smart enough to eat the eggs and leave the hens alive to lay more.
I am fairly positive that this skunk eats chicken eggs, I reside in northern California
No - squirrels are mammals, they do not lay eggs.
(Monotremes, found only in Australia and New Zealand, are the only extant mammals that lay eggs - the platypus is an example).
Cubans do not eat flamingo eggs. Typically Cuban dishes tend to revolve around pork, chicken, beef, and fish. Cubans do eat eggs from chicken and tend to incorporate them into many of their dishes.
yes they do eat chickens
Yes! Egg is good for chickens in moderation. You would want to cook it first though so they do not get in the habit of pecking eggs. Contrary to the previous answer... egg yolks are not baby chicks! Not all chicken eggs are fertilized. Hens lay eggs whether there is a rooster present or not; we get three eggs a day from our three ladies and no roosters are allowed in city limits. You are not eating baby chickens when you eat eggs! You can even feed your chicken...chicken!
No , they don't since they only eat fruit and worms etc. but they could if they didn't have any other food but most likely not...
