An adult elephant has no real predators. Lions may take a very small baby elephant, but the adults guard them very well to prevent this. Elephants are plant eaters so they do not prey on anything.

The elephant's size makes them hard for predators to kill. Leopards, lions, and jaguars will prey on baby elephants. At night, the adult elephants form a circle around the calves to protect them. During the day, an unlucky calf might wander away from the herd and be killed. Adult elephants have thick skin, making it hard to bite. Humans are a predator of elephants.

Adult elephants do not have regular predators in the wild due to their size and strength. However, young elephants can be vulnerable to attacks by lions or crocodiles.

Lions often prey on weak, sick, or baby elephants. Maybe leopards do too?

And also don't forget poachers...
