All balls will bounce based on the surface you bounce it on. Even a Bowling ball will bounce at least a centimeter or half a centimeter even though it is hard to determine whether it is getting off the ground or not. Of course it wont bounce if you bounce it on something soft and break through, but it will bounce on a hard cement floor.
It will bounce because it will have potential energy weighing it down and if the floor is harder than the ball, the ball will move off like opposite sides of a magnet. but only for a while until our gravity pulls it down and stops it.
Hope that helped.
The same as a major league baseball, 9.25 ounces. IMPROVED ANSWER: Same as MLB with the exception of T-Ball Balls. The T Ball balls are lighter and don't have as much "bounce".
The ancient Romans had many different ball games and the composition of the balls would depend on how they were going to be used. In games where no or little bounce was necessary, such as field hockey or Trigon or a strictly tossing game, the balls would be made of tightly compressed wool or linen and hair wrapped in string. Another favorite was chopped sponges wrapped in string and cloth. For games that required a bounce, they would use inflated pig or other animal bladders, and this was wrapped tightly in leather or some other animal skin. Animal sinew wound into a ball and wrapped in leather was another option.
Yes. More air in the basketball will make it bounce higher. Yes. Replacing the air with even a lighter gasses, such as helium, results in a higher bounce. It follows that, removing air or using heavier gasses to inflate a ball will result in a lower bounce. YES. Adding more air to the ball lessens the particles in the ball to bounce around. Putting more air in a basket ball will definitely make it bounce higher. If you put light gasses in it like helium then it will bounce even higher. If you take air out of it, it will bounce lower. After a while of putting air in a basketball it starts to bounce lower.
Lol, If you don't know what a bounce pass is, then do not try out for basketball! It's when you pass the ball, but instead of throwing it, You bounce it on the floor to pass it to your team-ate. It's in the name..Too
He just had the biggest balls in the world, leading to his rule over all
All Balls Don't Bounce was created in 1994.
No medicine balls do not bounce unless you throw them on a trampoline.
depends on the the surface
small balls will bounce higher because they have closer particles
"Bouncing into Science: The Physics and Chemistry of Bounce Balls"
because tennis balls turn in to ice when cold, and then dont bounce.
Tennis Balls do have Gravity. It may bounce, but at one point, all energy will be used up, and it will be at rest.
Glass balls tend to bounce higher than rubber balls due to their density and hardness. Glass balls have less energy loss upon impact because they are rigid and less deformable compared to rubber balls. This allows glass balls to retain more of their original kinetic energy during the bounce, resulting in a higher bounce height.
yes
To bounce...
They are hollow rubber balls. Hope this helps!
Because balls are made of rubber, and dogs are not.
