Everyone has multiple personalities. What i have learnt is that alcoholics do what they do as a means of escape, they have associated drinking with getting away from frustration. Have you ever got annoyed at something and so you do something that you enjoy to get away, like watch tv. You feel you are in control with TV so it is the perfect thing to get away to.
