Gluten is a protein found in wheat and other grains.

Hash browns are a food comprised of potatoes.

While self-diagnosis of gluten sensitivity is over ten times more common than actual gluten sensitivity (which only occurs in one half of one percent of the population, those with Coeliac disease), potatoes don't have gluten, anyway.

There is also no gluten in the butter-like oil the hash browns are fried in, nor the salt that is added, nor the onion flavoring.
