World of Wigs has a program to set up wig funds for older women who have lost their hair from cancer treaments and want grey-haired wigs. World of Wigs doesn't donate the wigs, but it still takes about eight people donating grey hair to make a wig for each woman. The way it works: A woman's friends or family can set up a personalized fund for her to get a wig. When enough hair and dollar donations come in, World of Wigs makes up the wigs. I don't know how well this company is rated, but it's the only one I've found that accepts donations of fully grey hair. (Pantene accepts hair that is 5% grey or less.) See WorldofWigs.com and WigFund.org They need a minimum of 10" of hair length in order to make a wig. You can mail your donation to:

In the US, you can DONATE your hair to a good cause like Locks of Love, which creates wigs for children suffering from cancer.
Think of all the people without hair or losing their hair. What if that was you? Wouldn't you want someone to donate their hair to you?
You can donate your hair through any hair salon that supports such an organization. Some websites are:righthealth.com/Dermatology/hair.lovetoknow.com/Donate
