That would decrease sales. Another reason is because in the Animal Crossing for Gamecube you can only have one person per house. Also, all the animals are set to at some point leave the time. So they can't have relationships because they would leave at some point. One more reason is because the game can't guarantee that there will always be an animal of the opposite gender at all times. There have been cases when a lot of animals move at a time and the town is left with all boy or girl animals. There is also no place for you and an animal to be wed.
