If the CD is a CD-R it is only "Writable," and cannot have songs added to it after its initial burn. If the CD is a CD-RW you should be able to "Rewrite" songs onto the CD and reburn them.
optical disls
Yes. CD-RW drives are capable of writing to CD-R discs as well.
It depends on the CD's format, how it was burned, and whether the session is still open or not. If it is a CD-RW(Read/Write) you can erase these and re-write data on them. If you are trying to erase a store bought CD or a CD-R or CD+R you are out of luck, once these are burned they are done.
CD-R isn't rewritable at all. A CD-RW can be rewritten on.
yo don't
You could make a copy of a movie or song. EDIT: You can have an external copy of your file which is stored on your CD.
No your original file is not deleted from a CD when you rip it with WMP. CD media is general read-only, which means you can play it back but can't edit or delete it.
because the law is only that you have to edit only certain words to call it edited.
You Don't. _____ edit you buy the CD or the song from iTunes
Most likely, your computer is not a CD-RW burner, so it can play it, but not edit things on it. My suggestion, put it into a CD-RW burner or DVD Player with burner, then try again.
CD ROM and CDR -they are not writable if you have written data on it.Even if you have loaded 10kb or 700mb no matters it can't be rewrite anymore. CDrw- it can be written more than one time you can delete, edit, rename, edit attributes.
Insert the CD into your computer. On Windows 7, go to "computer" on the start-up menu or go to "my computer" on any other Windows operating system. Select the drive of your CD and double click it. Go to the properties tab and edit the properties of the CD to enable recording.
If your using a CD to upload it. First insert the CD with your iPod connected to the computer. Then the CD should come up onto itunes. Next on the side of your computer it should say import CD. After it is uploaded into your library go to edit... select all... and drag it into your devices (or the file with your name on it.)
you can chose option data disc then u burn the disc, that option will let you add or delete again when you burn again
there are 3 types of CDs 1- CD-ROMs 2-CD-R 3-CD-RW CD-roms have a "read only memory" so you cant delete or add anything to it CD-recordable you can only add data to it CD-rewritable is a type of CDs that you can add on, edit, and delete data from the one you have is probably a CD-ROM so u cant delete the songs on it because when they were added they were burnt on it with laser.... so just bye a new CD lol hope i helped
CD-R means you can only write/record files to a CD/DVD one time. CD-RW means you can write/record files to a CD/DVD and then re-write new files or delete old files from the said CD-RW. CD-RW hold less than CD-R's and they tend to get buggy the more times you add/edit/delete/re-write over them. Also if you are lets say burning music to a CD to play in your car or something some CD-RW's are not really compatible with standard car stereos.
