this animal is dirty and will eat anything!!!

I am astounded that someone would answer this question by saying that raccoons are dirty. Raccoons are beautiful, intelligent animals. They do not like vegetables, but if hungry I think they would eat anything.

I have to agree. I have the Mamma Racoon come every night with her grown babies. They wait till I put my kitchen light on and come down a large Red Maple tree and stand on thier hind legs and wait for me. They love Peanut Butter sandwhich !!

Yes, raccoons can eat grass as part of their omnivorous diet. However, grass is not a primary food source for raccoons and they typically consume a variety of foods such as fruits, nuts, insects, small mammals, and amphibians.

Lettuce would probably not rank among the things a raccoon would eat unless no other food is available. They are known for eating almost anything but they do have standards.

Grass is not a normal part of a raccoon's diet but they could eat it, I suppose.
