I can say that it is not to replace but you can do something to have the Cr1616 works on a unit using CR1632. As the first number on the CR code corresponds on the diameter of the battery it means that both will fit it on the unit bettery lying pad. As the second number corresponds on the thickness of the battery then you just need to put a shim or something that will push the battery to properly fit in.
