Actually rose petals are healthy for your guinea to eat. Pet stores like Petsmart and Petco sell a brand called Kaytee, they have rose petals and rose buds in some of their products and they also have a treat that is nothing but rose petals. I wouldn't recommend picking roses unless you are positive that they have not been sprayed with pesticides. Always consult a vet before taking the choice to feed from items outside, sometimes cars can cause nasty pollutions to your plants and they could potentially be harmful.
