The answer is: YES.
Many years back, I saw a photograph purportedly printed on a newspaper showing a boa constrictor split along its belly, and a full-grown man body was still lying along the snake body. According to the photo caption, this event occurred in Malaysia.
yes but only if that person is very, very weak and or is a baby. I have personally owned a boa constrictor and am not at all a body builder or anything and i have never had trouble. Even with adults. Really, no person has ever been killed by a boa constrictor in the us (or possibly enywhere that they are not indiginous) and a boa has never eaten a person, even a small baby.
the only snake that could ever eat a small child would be a HUGE adult reticulated python or possibly a burmese python. However, this is also rare and is ALWAYS the victims fault ALWAYS. For example, (and i know this is getting long ;P) a burmese python adut female has once kiled a 14 year old boy but only because it was let loose in the house on purpose (stupid) and the sleeping boy kicked the sake and was though of as food. Furthermore, (bear with me) an adult boas teeth and head are actually very small and could barely eat a rabbit.
So yes, but only in the strangest situations with adults and babies or frail people are usually the victims and are not EVER attacked unless thought of as food or handle one incorrectly.
Yes. I've read of two cases in northern Nevada where pet boa constrictors have killed their owners. I tried looking up the locations. I couldn't find them, but I did find websites that listed many such occurrences.
