The short answer is yes.
The longer answer is that boys become Priests when they are 16 usually, so they rarely marry until they become Elders (around age 18). Most adult males in the church are Elders.
On the other hand, tens of thousands of adult males join the LDS Church a year. These are all ordained to the office of priesthood shortly after baptism. While a large number are married, many are not, and those who are not can get married whenever they chose. I have in fact had friends who held the office of priest in the Mormon Church at the time they married because they had been members of the Church such a short time.
Now if you mean the leaders of our congregations, those are Bishops... and I've never seen one that wasn't married, actually.
There aren't any groups in the church that are forbidden to marry, such as nuns or monks... Mormons believe that marriage is something that God encourages.
I think more to the point in answer to the question asked, there are no Priests as such there is no paid clergy the Bishops or branch presidents are lay people who are appointed to the position and serve for a time and then are released and someone else is appointed. No set time, depends on lots of things. and they are usually married or likely to get married during the time they are Bishops if they were not to begin with.
The Mormon church is extremely family oriented.
No, not in the Roman Catholic Church, at least in the West. Eastern Rite Catholics have their own guidelines on this.
Roman Catholic AnswerTo be very clear about this, at no time in Church history have priests ever been allowed to be married. Now, have there been married priests? Yes, and there still are, but once they are ordained they may not marry as they have taken a lifelong vow of celibacy. Currently in the western Church, only men in the Latin Rite must be single when they are ordained, also there have been several ordinations of married men who have converted and been accepted for the priesthood. All of these men make a vow of chastity meaning that aside from being faithful to their wives, they can never marry again, say, in the instance of their wife dying. In the Eastern and Oriental Rites, the Church has always allowed married men to be ordained, same circumstances, but bishops are chosen only from the single clergy. There are two main types of missionaries in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church). Most missionaries are young men and women, ages 19 to 25. These missionaries must be single and are not allowed to have any romantic relationships while they are missionaires. In the past (prior to WWII) these missionaries could be married and often were asked to leave their spouses and children behind in order to serve.
Some missionaries are older married couples. These couples are usually retired with no children at home and are expected to serve together with their spouse. These missionaries usually serve as service or administrative missionaries, rather than doing door-to-door preaching.

Within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church), most boys ages 16-18 and recent adult male converts are ordained priests. An ordained priest in the Mormon church does not have the authority - religously or civilly - to perform a marriage.
A Mormon Bishop (the leader of a congregation) CAN legally perform a marriage, at least in most countries. Many countries also recognize a sealing performed in a Mormon Temple by an ordained Mormon sealer as a legal marriage.
Yes, a Priest can perform a legal wedding if both parties are Catholic. If one is not then they may have some red tape to go through in order to be married in a Catholic Church.
Missouri Marriages may be performed by any clergyman who is a citizen of the ... Ship captains are not authorized to perform marriage ceremonies in New York State.
They have their own set of protocols for this as they perform legal steps
Monks and priests are all able to administer the holy sacraments including marriage. I would have no problem with the idea of a Franciscan priest performing my marriage in a church - the legal requirements are same of course.
The ordained minister can always perform the wedding for the religion. But to make the wedding legal the couple has to go to the town hall and fill in some legal documents.
A Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) can perform the marriage of a nondenominational couple and will provide the service for free. He might also allow the couple to use the church building free of charge as well, so long as it is not reserved for a church activity. Mormon Bishops can perform marriages either in their own church buildings, in reception centers, homes, or outdoor locations, but not in church buildings of other religions. If you are outside the United States, you will need to be aware that in some nations, Mormon Bishops are not legally authorized to perform a marriage. Check with a Bishop or with local authorities to determine if it is legal. Mormon Priests are typically 16-20 year old boys. While they can perform baptisms, they are not legally able to perform marriages. The title of the man who leads a Mormon congregation is a Bishop, not a Priest. Bishops can legally perform marriages.
No a marriage has to be performed by a pastor who has a marriage license .
Priests and mairage celebrants
Buddhists do not have wedding ceremonies in the traditional sense. Monks will have a blessing ceremony but they do not perform legal wedding ceremonies.
NO, all weddings require a legal marriage license from the state.
A Roman Catholic priest is not likely to agree to such a thing, as he would face discipline from either the diocese or his order, since the Catholic church does not sanction same-sex marriage, even in places where it is legal. Catholic priests have been known to break ranks with church doctrine from time to time, but it does not happen often.
who cares about ministers. I'm have a baby with a ex pron star named Brittaney Starr on rock of love contestant.
