Generally longer but not bigger, for overall mass the Anaconda is larger.
More information.
The (Asiatic) Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus) is a member of the Pythonidae family and has and average length of 15ft to 25ft however, it is possible for some to grow near 30ft with a weight of 300lbs; the largest was measured at 33ft; they can be located in Southeast Asia and can be found in the tropical rainforest's, a member of the Boa family the female can have as many as 100 eggs at a time (Average is 60 eggs) and the hatchlings are at least 2 ft (61 cm) length, life span of the python is 25 to 30 years. The diet consists of small mammals and birds, the larger the python the larger the prey which include pigs, dogs, cats and primates, etc., the python ambushes it's prey and suffocates the victim rather then crushing it, after swallowing the prey whole digestion takes many days to several weeks depending on the size of the prey.
On average, the green anaconda is 2 ft longer than the reticulated python.
A green anaconda
The longest snake in the world is the reticulated python, which can grow up to over 25 feet in length. These snakes are native to Southeast Asia and are known for their impressive size and strength.
Partialy yes because if the python is smaller than the King Cobra then the King cobra will win. Otherwise python is stronger than King Cobra
The Reticulated Python is the strongest snake because first of all it can sense heat better than any other animal on the planet. It can sqeeze so hard than your bones will crumble and anacondas can only snap your bones. The second reason is that the reticulated python can blend with surrondings so it can strike at your weak points. The third reason is it is very agressive even a tiger will stay away because it is that agressive. The Reticulated Python Can kill a green anaconda. the green anaconda is wak compared to a Reticulated Python
Green anacondas are much bigger than reticulated pythons. Yellow anacondas are much smaller than retic pythons.
Reticulated Python. Largest recorded is in Indonesia at 49 feet long 900 pounds...Cenobio also has a large snakeWhile it is true that the reticulated python is the longest snake in the world, the Green anaconda is the largest. They are pound for pound the heaviest and largest snakes in the world. They grow to 30+ feet but their incredible girth makes them the bigger and stronger than the reticulated python.
No a reticulated python and a Burmese python are different snakes. Both are found close together in nature (S.E. Asia), though. The Burmese doesn't quite reach the length of a reticulated python; however a Burmese python is a much heavier snake like the Anaconda. The Burmese's weight and girth it typically bigger than a reticulated python; however the reticulated python is the longest documented snake in existence. Both are absolutely beautiful animals, though. The reticulated python tends to be more aggressive a snake than the Burmese, however. But with regular handling from a young age, both can become very "handle-able". By nature, however, the Burmese is generally a more docile animal, especially if handled from an early age.
the boa Annoconda. The Annoconda is the biggest snake on the planet. Bigger then Boa and Bigger than Python. 1. Annoconda, 2. Boa, 3. Python.
1. Green Anaconda = 25 feet, but heavier than any other snake2. Reticulated Python = 33 feet3. Scrub Python = 26 feet4. African Rock Python = 25 feet5. Burmese Python = 23 feet
The reticulated python holds the title for the longest snake species, with some individuals reaching lengths of over 30 feet. The anaconda, especially the green anaconda, is considered the heaviest snake species, with individuals weighing over 500 pounds. Both are formidable predators in their habitats.
Yes. Even though there is a lot of controversy over which snake holds the world's record for massive size, the dimensions that have earned the anaconda the title of king is its total body mass or its weight (the sheer physical bulk of it). The other snake that competes with the anaconda is the Asiatic Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus). The python holds the world's record for length of a snake, with the longest ever measured at 33 feet, while the largest anaconda everreliably recorded is just over 28 feet. Even though the longest python is longer than the record-holding anaconda, the girth of the anaconda is far bigger. Anacondas in the jungles of South America can grow as big around as a grown man!
