SOME monkeys are legal to have as pets in the US. Check with your local (State and city) Wildlife Resource Agency.

it depends on what state in the US you can go to http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/legalissues/ht/Legalstatus.html it tells you if your state allows you to own exotic pets and if so it tells you if you need a license or a permit to have one

do you mean as pets? yes then if that's what you mean. they have certain restrictions. i mean it cant be let lose and go beserk you know? but ya they are allowed as pets. Hard to deal with and all but yes good pets.
