improper fluid level.
what car can i pull a 5 or 6 speed transmission from to put in my 1968 camaro? I have a 700r4 in it now and would like a Manuel in it. THANKS!!
General Motors made the '68 Camaro'. '68 Camaro' had more pointed front grille and divided rear tail lights. The front running lights were changed from circular to oval.
Yes it is, the nova is also useable in the camaro or firebird,I put a 73 nova subframe under my 68 camaro.
the 67 camaro has a triangular side window vent that can be pushed open and 68 and 69 do not have that http://members.socket.net/~g6007/68/68drivers.jpg (68 camaro) http://www.buyoldcars.com/info/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/67camaro-smallpic-cutout.jpg (67 camaro) hope these links are useful
No. Not only are they different, but, the 69 camaro is a little bit wider than the 67-68. Most people do not know that, but, they are. The rear spoiler is a give away. 67-68, have their own, but the 69 is wider.........Chuck.
No! No you can't. The transmissions are entirely different and would not bolt up directly. Unless of course you did some major fabbing to swap the powertrain out of the 95 into the 68, but why would you want to do that?
No. 2 different body styles.
The proper fluid is listed in your owner's manual. Don't have one, get one, or call a dealer for the answer.
Overhaulin' - 2004 Ian Ziering '68 Camaro was released on: USA: 27 October 2004
No, the 68 Camaro RS (Rally Sport) had hideaway lights. You could get an SS RS which would have the hideaway lights.
ANOTHER ANSWER Technically, your 68 Nova Automatic Transmission was designed to use Dexron II transmission fluid. It's called a "friction modified" transmission fluid, meaning that it was designed to work with the internal clutches. As friction modified fluids are all slightly different, it might be best to stay with the stuff that was originally designed for the transmission, but you might be able to get more information from your locak transmission shop. ANSWER Any fluid that says dexron on it.
