(nuclear physics) The series of nuclides resulting from the decay of uranium-238, including isotopes of uranium, thorium, protactinium, radium, radon, pdonium, lead, bismuth, and thallium with mass number 4n+2, where n is an integer. Also known as uranium decay series; uranium-radium series.
