Does anyone know the chords fof this song? Here are the lyrics:

To the guy who left the pamphlet on the midnight Greyhound bus,

that asked me if i new where i was going,

to the late night TV preacher when i couldn't sleep a wink,

reminding me there's peace for those who know Him,

to the kid who wore the T-shirt that said,

"Elvis is cool, but Jesus is the one and only King"

Chorus:

I want to thank you for the witness you have been

I want to thank you for reminding me of Him

For the way your'e unashamed to show your faith

In a world that needs His mercy and His grace

I want to thank you

To the local gospel DJ who works every single night,

Playing songs to reach the nonbelievers,

To the little white-haired lady who works at the SACK'N'Save

Who always says "God Bless You" when you see her,

To a mom and dad who spent a lifetime on their knees,

Praying for a child they loved so dear,

I wish i told them more while they were here,

Chorus:

I want to thank you for the witness you have been

I want to thank you for reminding me of Him

For the way your'e unashamed to show your faith

In a world that needs His mercy and His grace

I want to thank you

Some of them were family and some of them were friends,

Some of them were strangers,

But all were heaven- sent.

I want to thank you

I want to thank you

For the way you're unashamed to show your faith

In a world that needs His mercy and His grace

I want to thank you

I want to thank you

Hopefully, I will be taken to heaven. But the question really is ... what will happen to you when Jesus returns? Will you be taken with him to live with him forever in heaven? Or will you be among those who are cast aside? Christians should live in a way that honors Jesus and in a way that will make us unashamed when he returns, for "you do not know on what day your lord will come." And in light of all this, God commands us to reach out with compassion and witness to those who do not yet know Christ.

Or...

I always heard it as a "Bald faced lie. properly "BOLD FACED LIE" as when newspapermen would try to affect the outcome of elections; back when people got their news only by Newspaper and word of mouth. The news paper would print an untrouth in BOLD headlines; knowing it could not be refuted till it was too late.

There is a physical death and a spiritual death. All men have experienced physical death since sin entered the world back in the Garden of Eden.

But God was determined to make a way for His children to NOT have to experience the spiritual death, which is complete and utter separation from God permanently or eternally.

We have never known this kind of death in our lives, because even if we are not embracing a relationship with God, His mercy is all around us in things as simple as rain and sunshine and food and life and hope.

This death will not only be intolerable for us, but also for God who created us and loves us! He does not long to be separated from us. He wants us to know and understand His mercy.

So He has planned, from before creation, to make a way, for those who are willing, to have our sins declared "paid in full" so that we can stand one day before Him unashamed and without fear. That way was for Jesus to experience that awful separation from the Father on our behalf. Something intolerable for Him, but nevertheless His desire, for our sake. It is an offer of love to those who understand how desperately we need His forgiveness.

While doing some research for this answer I really could not find 3 real separate reasons why D. L. Moody was referred to as "crazy Moody". However I did find one overwhelming reason! Mr. Moody was referred to as "crazy" in Chicago because of his unabashed, unintimidated, and aggressive manner of speaking with people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It did not seem to matter to Moody if the person was a close personal friend or a complete and utter stranger, he was going to find out if that person had made a personal commitment to Jesus. At this time in American personal questions about ones beliefs were considered rude in polite society, however this being said, Mr. Moody seemed to attract a great deal of friends and admirers because of his unashamed dedication to bringing others to a saving knowledge of the Biblical Jesus. Another possible reason might be D.L.'s appearance He purposefully kept a long full beard and a somewhat full middle. In any case from what I can find the "crazy" label was never used in a truly derogatory manner. While his detractors may have felt that his actions where out of the mainstream, no one ever doubted his mental facility, and it seems that the label was most likely one of respect or admiration for the sheer force of his character and personality. The War had a tremendous impact on Theodore Roosevelt's political future. But for the war only true nerds who obsessively study the history of the New York City Police Department would even be likely to know today who he was. Roosevelt would likely have remained an obscure former Police Commissioner. Maybe he would have gotten to be mayor.

The celebrated war correspondent Richard Harding Davis covered the campaign in Cuba, going along in person. There he encountered TR, who had lobbied himself into the second in command position in what he called "The Rough Riders", more formally known as the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry. It takes a real historian today to recall who was actually in command of the regiment. Davis filed reports for the papers back in the US, and Teddy made certain Davis got plenty of information of the doings of Teddy and his Rough Riders. More professional regular army officers were loath to clamor after glory with the naked hunger for fame Teddy was unashamed to exhibit, along with his shameless self-promotion. So successful was Roosevelt in winning this campaign in the press that President McKinley, who was getting ready to run for a second term, dumped his Vice President and put Teddy on the ticket as his VP choice. Some Republicans were aghast at this, such as Mark Hanna, who was almost beside himself at the thought of putting "that madman Roosevelt" one heartbeat away from the top. Then, scarcely six months into McKinley's second term an anarchist elevated Teddy to the highest office in the land with a well-placed bullet.
