well there havent been any attacks but

in stephenville, Texas tons of people have seen a strange flying ship

they described it as round different colors, no sound, and then zipping itself into the distance really fast

When they do attack they will first attack with what appears to be a meteor shower destroying most populated cities. Sometime after this begins their ships will become visible in the sky.

Next they will begin their ground invasion searching the for anything that moves.

Anywhere out side of major populations will be safe for a while.
