For avid home gardeners, a constant worry is having unwelcome wildlife move in or raid their garden. Having small critters such as birds and squirrels around is inevitable, but larger animals could ruin flower beds and entire gardens that took so much work and attention. One way to prevent animals from crossing into the garden and causing damage is to erect an electrified fence. The Stanley Tool company offers an electric fence that property owners can install themselves at reasonable cost.

Stanley firearms was a name applied to firearms imported from Belgian by the H & D Folsom Arms Co. of New York, N.Y.. The Folsom Arms Co. imported & or manufactured low cost firearms under a number of different names. You could actually buy the same firearm at a number of different stores with different names on it. Cresent Arms (a manufacture of low cost firearms) of Norwich, Conn. was acquired by the Folsom Arms Co. to be ther manufacturing division. As all the records of this originazation ( Folsom/ Cresent) have been long since lost or destroyed. Your search for more imfo. is going to be a tough one. Good luck!

First, be careful when searching online. There are several alleged biographical sketches of President Obama's mother that are not biographical sketches at all, but are anti-Obama propaganda. There is no evidence, for example, that Ann Dunham was a Communist or even a Marxist. On the other hand, even most reliable sources admit the president's mother was a free spirit and made some poor relationship choices; they also note that she deeply loved her son and tried her best to encourage him to do well. The Wikipedia entry about her is fairly reliable, as is the entry from Biography.com

This shotgun, which was apparently made in Belgian and imported by the H & D Folsom Arms Co. was designed as a low cost "hardware store" gun. The fact that it has "twist" (damascus barrels) and exposed hammers implies that it is probably no less than 100 years old. Unfortunatly the records of the H & D Folsom Arms Co. are no longer to be had, as such getting an any more than an approxmate age is probably not possible. My, very uneducated, guess would be sometime between the late 1880's and 1910.
