CPUSA, the largest US Communist party, believes in the use of peaceful and democratic tools to accoplish their goals. They view the US as a revolutionary country which has become corrupt; in their view the Revolution was hijacked from the very beginning by a bunch of racist old rich white men, but fought by the working class. The Revolution must be corrected Democratically to take power away from the rich and give it to the working class, but they do not support or believe in another violent revolution.
However, there are smaller Communist parties in the USA which do support a violent revolution. These include the neoradical Progressive Labor Party and the Maoist Revolutionary Communist Party.
