Well, I would assume that if you just use the amount of eggs the recipe tells you to you will be fine. Try this: Take the milk in the recipe and split that in half. Then put the rest of the required milk as cream. Or, just do 1/2 & 1/2.

The basic recipe for scrambled eggs is eggs, a little milk, a little salt to taste. You can add an endless variety of things to suit your own taste, such as chopped onion, green onion, dried onion, ground pepper, diced or chopped red or green pepper, salsa, any kind of grated cheese, sausage, ham, etc.
The amount of milk you add is dependent on how dry or moist you like your eggs.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan, pour in the egg mixture; when you see the edges start to solidify and a few bubbles rise in the middle, you begin to stir gently until it's cooked to a consistency that you like.
That's a great recipe!
If you want a real quick recipe, try breaking 2 (medium) eggs per person into a bowl, whisk it so it holds together, add the variations above, then put it in the microwave for 30secs, then stir with a fork, keep repeating until the right consistency. Then serve on hot buttered toast! :P

I don't think many recipes that need powdered sugar would work with a substitute, but you can make powdered sugar if you have a food processor. Put granulated sugar in the food processor and a little corn starch (about one teaspoon of corn starch to one cup of sugar). Run the food process for several minutes checking periodically to see if the sugar is fine enough. When it's powdery you can use it in your recipe.

When looking to perfect a tomato bisque soup, try searching in a soup-specific cookbook by a well-known chef. Then compare and contrast with other recipes you may find online or in food magazines, too. Always experiment and feel free to tweak quantities of spices and other ingredients when trying to create the very best version of your recipe.
