Benefits of pop up books
The benefits of using pop up books is that they can be viewed and enjoyed by all ages and there are lots of different pop up books out there. Anyone who cannot read can still enjoy the book because it focuses mainly on large and colourful pictures. It is also a visual input of the pictures, and if someone reads aloud while pointing to the pop ups the child will be more likely to learn the words of the picture faster because each pop up is focused on one large picture unlike 2D ones that have alot of pictures/ things going on in the book. It also means that children and others can interact with the mechanisms in the book such as lift the flaps, pull tabs, and revolving pop ups. It gives young viewers a chance to learn by touch, which alot of children thrive on.
