Your body has been starved during the night, and unless you fuel up at breakfast time, your metabolism will dip.

I recommend a high carb breakfast to fuel you well so you can start an energetic day. By contrast, you do not need a high carb dinner since you're likely going to sleep afterwards and you will store all those extra carbs as fat.

Also, if you skip breakfast, you will be so starved after a whole night's time, you are likely to overindulge on lunch.

Space out your meals during the day, save carb-rich meals for when you need an energy boost. Try not to overindulge in any one meal.

Well, isn't that a fun little riddle! You would call a drunk octopus "an octopus who's had a little too much seawater." Just like we all have our moments, even our eight-armed friends in the ocean can overindulge sometimes. Just remember, it's important to always treat all creatures with kindness and understanding.

Being naturally thin is not about eating diet foods. Naturally thin people are thin "naturally" by eating healthy foods with realistic portions. To be naturally thin, you need to think and eat like a thin person. Thin people stop eating when they are full, eat balanced meals, and don't often overindulge.

Only if one eats them too often. The acronyn 'Dwaf' stands for 'Dangerous when eaten frequently', so it's easy to remember not to overindulge (unless you don't speak English). Also, where I live just south of the Arctic Circle, they are not readily available and very expensive, so we only have them as arare treat. Nanook

No, that's way too much sugar. 1 tablespoon of apple every couple of days is okay, but not necessary. Rabbits have a big sweet tooth, and they will overindulge if you let them. Rabbits need to eat a very specialized diet. They have very sensitive digestive systems. Too much sugar can upset the gut bacteria and cause life-threatening problems. Refer to Related Questions below for more information.

Well this is a complicated and broad question. One reason may be that they don't have enough time. Another is that they aren't hungry. Also, many people think that this is a good way to lose weight but it can actually be counterproductive because when you don't eat in the mornings, your metabolism slows down and when you do eat, you may reach for something unhealthy and you may overindulge. Your body most likely will metabolize that into fat, causing you to gain weight.

1 answer

A balanced lifestyle is where you excersize 4 to 6 times a week, making sure you don't overwork yourself. Do something different every week or day. Also, being healthy means to eat good food. That doesn't mean only lettuce and water. That means it should be everything, but not too much of anything. The best way is 80/20. 20% bad and 80% good. Indulge, but don't overindulge.

Churches are a business. They are more afraid of losing customers and money than speaking the truths of the sins of gluttony, obesity, and alcoholism. As a business, they know more and more people are obese and they don't want to offend them with the truth.

Obese people will burn in hell for eternity and their fat will help keep the flames going.

Jerry Falwell is finding that out now.

They say it has zero GRAMS of lactose (At least on the cheddar sitting in my room). Aged cheese doesn't have much lactose in it, but pretty much all cheese has some. In fact, even Lactaid Ice Cream which claims to have no lactose at all has some in it. So while any aged cheese will have little enough lactose that even many lactose intolerant individuals will be fine as long as they don't overindulge, but I imagine the amount in the cheese is low enough so that they can claim it doesn't have any.

Many who have lived to 100 years or beyond say they do what they love, regardless of what health consequences they've been told said action would have on them. By not worrying about consequences of every little thing or how long they may have to live, they say, they are simply happier. And though they do what they love, they try not to overindulge themselves on anything.

So, in all, it's just be happy.

Drinking excessively whilst on any prescripted drug is not usually recommended, yet for this particular drug risk is low. I would advise you to drink moderately but nonetheless if you were to overindulge, if you are otherwise a healthy person and not taking any other medication prohibiting telling you otherwise then risk is low. The main worry is that when you are drunk your defenses are weaker and thus the risk of slowing down the effectiveness of the drug is increased.

The benefits of eating a carefully balanced and nutritious diet are many fold. The amount of readily available fast food in today's world often means we are tempted to overindulge in high fat and sugary content which our more sedentary lifestyle doesn't require. Excess weight leads to heart and blood pressure problems together with associated risks of type 2 Diabetes. We will also feel less energetic as we are forced to carry around those extra pounds. Eating healthy fruits, vegetables and pulses and increasing our water intake over burgers and sugary sodas keeps our weight in check and ensures toxins are flushed away more easily.

Children love candy because it is usually sweet, colorful, and provides a quick burst of energy. The high sugar content in candy can also stimulate the brain's reward system, making it appealing to children. Additionally, candy is often associated with special occasions and treats, which adds to its appeal for children.

Yup. Bet on it. It will be between 2 days and 2 weeks, but you will have yours, as the body goes through its process of cleansing the toxins that have built up over a long period of over-indulgence. Drink plenty of water and look at it as a passing step on the road to recovery.

Although shingles is NOT as common in teenagers, as it is in people over the age of 50, they can certainly become infected. The virus from the chicken pox lies dormant in the spinal cord, if any age child's immune system becomes weak, the virus can resurface in the form of shingles. It is noteworthy, that there is a link to excessive alcohol consumption and shingles. Teenagers tend to "experiment" with alcohol, and will overindulge. Recent studies have shown a direct link. My 17 teen old daughter recently stayed out all night, and was drinking. She came home the next AM (sick, and in trouble). Within 2 days, a blister was forming on her face, I immediately took her to her GP, sure enough, shingles....

Synovial fluid can leak due to injury or inflammation of the joint capsule, which can compromise the integrity of the synovial membrane and cause the fluid to escape. This can lead to conditions such as bursitis, tendonitis, or joint trauma. In some cases, underlying conditions like arthritis can also contribute to synovial fluid leakage.

All organ meats are packed with vitamins, minerals and protein. The only drawback is that they can contain toxins if the animal was living on contaminated food. They are generally safe, use in moderation.

what do you mean by human nature?

ANSWER

me or we?

we are all influenced the same generally anyway

we are all influenced by our human instincts all the time

our desire to procreate, sex is very important to us and is thought about and experienced all the time

our desire to nurture, to teach our children how to survive

womens desire to be a gatherer, they have hundreds of objects and ornaments of no use, due to possibility it may have use in surviving

mens desire to be a hunter, they are aggressive and boys more than girls are interested in animals workings as children, to know the weaknesses of possible predators we can use for food, or for protection against

our protective nature towards our children ie maternal instinct, we love them instantly, and will kill for them if needs be, all to keep our line of family and DNA going

we over eat a lot and overindulge in food because our very ancient early ancestors needed to hunt and scarcely got food, so we take all we can get

we have a thirst for knowledge our desire to learn, to further our lives and success of surviving

men instinctively love women with bigger hips, breasts and/or stomach due to this being a sign of good ability to bear children,( especially the hourglass shape like beyonce or kelly brooke)

on the other side of things you could mean society and people

most people are not influenced in a good way by society as society is very judgmental, society doesn't like non conformity and difference

individuals are more tolerant but will change to go with the group most of the time in social situations due to the need to fit in and not want to be the individual of the group

we are all subject to the opinions and behaviors of society, even those of us who know all about sociology and psychology

and our 'human nature'' still has latent animal instinct (ie what i mention above) and that will always affect our lives, personalities drives and desires

in 1868, Dr. Samuel Carter of Erie, Pa. compounded a formula which he thought was good for sick headache and torpid liver (both "positively cured"), also indigestion, constipation or what-ails-you.

The tiny, white-coated globules, have recently been found to be an irritative laxative (with one of their ingredients described as "drastic"), and have no medicinal effect on the liver.

Mandrake & Aloes. Dr. Carter sought his raw materials in nature. Podophyllum resin, or podophyllin, is the resin of the dried root of the mandrake or May apple; Carter combined this with the dried juice of aloes. He chose as his trademark an overstuffed black crow, which gave a nice zoological balance to Bull Durham's bull on the nation's barns. By 1880 the growing business was incorporated. Millions of pills were shipped all over the U.S. and abroad.

Half a century later, a new advertising technique gave the sexagenarian business an added boost. The ominous crow was retired; the slogan became "Wake up your liver bile!" Jingles urged readers and radio listeners: "When you feel sour and sunk, and the world looks punk . . . Take a Carter's Little Liver Pill." Carter's went on to claim that the increased liver bile would enable the pill-taker to overeat and overindulge in "good times" without morning-after regrets, to wake up "clear-eyed and steady-nerved," "feeling just wonderful," and "alert and ready for work." Copywriters combed the thesaurus and found no less than 30 synonyms for the sluggishness which the pills were said to cure.

To actually answer your question: This is an old Southern (Southern US) saying that came about because of the high number of pills that were sold by this company. They sold thousands, hence the meaning "you have more excuses that Carter has little liver pillls (thousands)".

One of the best ways to improve your overall body health is by getting rid of certain bad things in your diet. There are lots of foods that you have probably eaten for your entire life and you probably had no idea those things were bad for you. Carbs are some of the worst things for you, especially if you eat them in the wrong forms and if you overindulge yourself. Many people today are turning to no carb diet recipes in order to help themselves get slim and get healthier overall. This is why diets like the Atkins Diet and the South Beach Diet have gained some much popularity over the last decade.

What carbs are bad for you?

Saying that all carbs are bad is not exactly true. You do need some carbs in order to keep your body healthy and doing what it needs to do. The problem occurs when you take in too many carbs. When that happens, you can run into trouble and your body will start storing those carbs in the wrong places. For instance, people who eat too many starch-heavy foods will find themselves packing on the pounds even though they don't eat much else that's bad. Simply eating a bit of bread won't kill you, but over-doing it with the carbs will almost certainly lead to a bad result.

Making it without carbs

If you are looking for no carb diet recipes, then you need to start with meats. Think about things that you might have eaten previously with bread, but remove the bread from the equation. For instance, if you are a fan of grilled chicken sandwiches, then perhaps you should switch it up and just go with grilled chicken breasts. This is a nice way to transition your way into a healthier meal without really feeling the pinch. Likewise, you can go with other lean meats like flank steak or fish. If you can do without bread, then these meals become much healthier and provide you with an opportunity to lose weight. Taking in too many carbs can lead to really poor overall health.

By setting bounderies, and not letting ANYONE, no matter who it is, manipulate, lie, and bully you. You almost always need to "detatch" and "accept" the fact that NPD's are wired differently. They are only 1% of the population. If you are normal, as you put it, you are NOT going to tolerate the drama NPD's seem to constantly create. Good luck. You really do have a choice in this matter. You always have choices even though sometimes they are hard to follow through on. You can either set up those bounderies and be consistent, or keep setting up lesson after lesson until you become aware of how YOU are allowing this to manifest in your life. You can ONLY change YOU!

Spaghetti. It has plenty of 'long-term' carbohydrates that will be ready to use on tomorrow's run.

Carbohydrates are the body's primary source of energy for running. They are coverted by the body into glucose which is used for energy. Any carbohydrates that are not immediately used are stored in the muscles as glycogen for later use. This is why carbohydrates are important for a marathon runner as the slow energy release happens over the whole marathon and gives you the energy when you need it most in the later stages. The urge to overindulge in carbohydrates the night before the race can leave you feeling sluggish so it is better to up your carbohydrate intake during the week before a race.

Foods rich in carbohydrates are cereals, grains, bread, rice, barley, oatmeal, spaghetti, pasta, muffins, apricot, dates, blueberry, banana, fig, grapes, apple, orange, pear, pineapple, strawberry, watermelon, raisins, chickpeas, white beans, black eye peas, potato, sweet potato, carrot, sweetcorn, squash, nonfat milk, low fat, plain yogurt, chocolate milk and skimmed milk.

For the night before I would suggest a pasta dish with a cream sauce and maybe some butternut squash. Don't overdo it as you have to run the next day. Up your carbohydrates during the week before and you should be fine.

The first thing most people think about when they hear that they need to lower their cholesterol is that they will now have to eat foods that they dislike. In reality, you can lower your cholesterol with foods that are not only good for you, but that you’ll love to eat.

Fish is a fabulous way to help lower cholesterol. Salmon, trout, and sardines are high in omega 3 fatty acids which have been shown to lower cholesterol. Two servings a week are enough for most people to start reaping the benefits. If you just can’t stomach that much fish each week, you can always take fish oil supplements. Check online for recipes; you might be surprised at the variety of dishes out there.

Oats and oat bran are cholesterol-lowering powerhouses in their own right. Oats are high in fiber, which helps your body to flush out the bad things you’ve been eating. Oatmeal has been credited not only with lowering the bad cholesterol (or LDL cholesterol), but it also raises good cholesterol levels (HDL cholesterol). Whole oat flour boasts the same benefits, so if you have an aversion to oatmeal, look into switching your regular white flour to whole oat flour.

Nuts are also high in fiber, helping your body to let go of the bad cholesterols. Nuts have the added benefit of containing antioxidants and other minerals your body needs. When you factor in their protein punch, nuts are a terrific snack for anyone looking to lower their cholesterol. Just make sure you don’t overindulge, as some nuts are high in fats.

Finally, don’t fear that you’ll have to give up butter and oils completely. More and more companies these days are creating products that are fortified with plant sterols that give you the same flavor and texture of their less healthy counterparts. Look for oils, butter substitutes, sour creams and other products that contain these important plant-based sterols to take the place of your regular items.

Taking care of our health and our cholesterol levels doesn’t have to be painful. Increase the amount of fiber in your diet and gravitate towards foods that will do double duty for you. Your cholesterol will thank you.

About half an hour's wait should suffice before you take liquid orally, but make sure it is not hot and better still, make it cold. Hot drinks can precipitate bleeding. It would be a good idea not to wash your mouth vigorously after an extraction, lest you dislodge the blood clot.

It is probably not that bad, after all, there are no warnings on the label. I wouldn´t do it though. Diet things give me the creeps because I wonder what they used to reduce the number of calories in it. They are probably using fake sugar. While this has been approved by the fda, it doesn´t rule out the possiblity of finding out about hidden side effects sometime down the road. Hidden side effects aside, if you are pregnant, everything you eat affects your baby. I would want to give my baby the healthiest diet possible by not ingesting a lot of sugar or unnatural products.
