Mickey McBan (27 February 1919 - 30 October 1979) was an American child actor. From the age of four, McBan became one of Hollywood's best proponents of the everyday youngster. As an actor, McBan found a middle path, located somewhere between the heart-tugging dramatics of Jackie Coogan or the more ethereal qualities of Philippe De Lacy. Perhaps his ordinariness worked against him as he grew, for McBan's screen career was already over by 1929.
