No. The Druze people have a strictly monotheistic religion that is different from Christianity. There is a scholastic debate as to whether Druze are an Islamic Sect (part of Ismai'ili Shiite Islam) or a distinct religion of their. However, most Druze and most Muslims agree that Druze and Islam are distinct religions.

I do not have a specific number, but there are 102 000 druze in Israel.
According to wikipedia, 83% of Druze males serve in the Israeli army.
This is a higher number than jewish Israelis, so proportionally, there are more druze than jews in the IDF.
The druze used to have it's own Druze unit, and often not reach high ranks like generals. Today, Druze soldiers are found in all units, including elite units and ranks such as major general. Again, the average druze rank is higher than the jewish rank in the Israeli army.

It depends on who you ask.
Most Druze and most typical Muslims would agree that Druze and Islam are separate religions. Druze is clearly an offshoot of Islam, but goes far enough to be a separate faith. (This would be similar to how most Jews see Messianic Judaism, but not the other way around.)
However, anthropologists who classify religion hold that Druze is not significantly different enough from Islam to be a unique faith. Since most Druze values and beliefs are secret, it is highly unlikely that we will ever get a satisfactory answer.
As for myself, if both Islam and Druze can agree that the two religions are distinct, I see no point arguing with them.
