The terms Inner London and Central London cannot be used interchangeably to mean the same area. Inner London is officially the richest area in Europe with the most expensive street in Europe, GDP per capita is nearly $80,000 while the UK GDP per capita is nearly $46,000. Many of the world's richest people live in West and North London, but there is widespread poverty too in these areas as well as the East End and areas south of the river.

London fashion is unlike any place in the United States. In America, people dress fairly conservatiely and weather-appropriate. In London, fashion is everything: posh, wild, chic, glamorous, and most importantly, unique to the individual. Considered to be one of the fashion capitals of the world, London houses some of the most unique styles strutting the streets. In London, one's inner fashionista is invited to be let loose.

The population of Manchester grew rapidly at the start of the Industrial Revolution, climbing continuously from 95,000 in 1801 to a peak of 750,000 in 1931. The population has declined since then, with a recorded 392,819 in the 2001 census, a 9.2% drop since 1991.
Inner London also saw continuous growth in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with the population rising from 879,491 in 1801 to a peak of 4,997,741 in 1921. Seven decades of declining population was halted in 1991, with an increase of 200,000 over 1981 and a further increase in 2001 to a recorded population of 2,765,975.
The population growth of Outer London is far more marked than Inner London, rising from 131,666 in 1801 to a peak of 4,483,595 in 1961, much later than the Inner London population peak, probably caused by suburbanisation as people moved out of the depressed and run-down inner city. After falling for thirty years to 4,182,979 in 1981, the population of outer London has risen since and was recorded as 4,406,061 in 2001, only a few thousand off the all time peak.

Inner London and Outer London are now both in area code 020.
The '7' from old Inner London 0171 numbers was added to the front of the local number, leading many people to mistakenly give 0207 as the area code, but the area code is just 020, with an 8-digit local number.
For example, 0171 222 1234 (Tube info) became 020 7222 1234.
In international format, London is +44 20.
(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)

Look at the London number and it will begin with 020 followed by a 7 or an 8 (depending on whether it is inner or outer London).
Drop the initial 0 so now it starts 207 or 208
You dial 011 44 and then the number without the first 0
The 011 tells the system you want to make an international call and the 44 is the code for the United Kingdom.
In the UK people would use the full number starting with 020 to dial London.
