Guido Canella
(1931– )
Italian architect responsible for many stark, monumental, and controversial buildings, including the Pieve Emanuele Civic Centre, Milan (1971–81), a complex that expresses his ideas about defence, historical allusions, and composition in a powerful design of towers, massive walls, and stark modelling.
