No, mL are a unit of volume and grams are a unit of mass.
1 mL of water has a mass of 1 g
1 answer
1 kg is bigger than 1020 g. 1 kg is equal to 1000 g, so it is a larger unit of measurement than 1020 g.
2 answers
0.5 g = 500 mg, and 2.5 g = 2500 mg. The prefix milli- means the unit is 1/1000 of the base unit, so there are 1000 mg in 1 g.
For example, multiply (0.5 g) x (1000 mg/g) = 500 mg.
1 answer
No, g/cm is not a unit of density. Density units are expressed as mass/volume, typically in g/cm^3 or kg/m^3. The unit g/cm represents mass per length, not mass per volume.
2 answers
Millilitres and micrograms are not directly comparable as the first is a unit of volume and the other is a unit of mass.
For water, 1 ml = 1 g. 1 mg = 0.001 g so 50 mg = 0.05 g. Therefore, 50 mg = 0.05 ml.
1 answer
There is no direct conversion between the unit "G" and millimeters as "G" is not a standard unit of measurement. If you meant to ask about grams (g) instead, 1 gram is equal to 1,000 milligrams, so 1 g = 1,000 mg.

By English unit you mean Imperial unit.
The imperial unit for mass is the pound (lb)

The unit "g over m2" is not an SI unit for density. SI unit for density is kg/m3 or g/cm3 or g/mL, which all represent mass per unit volume. The unit "g over m2" represents mass per unit area, not mass per unit volume.

The gram is a unit of mass, a submultiple of kilogram (1 kg = 1 000 g).
1 answer
Gram is a unit of mass, millilitre is a unit of volume; only for water 1 mL has a mass of 1 g.
1 answer
No, 1 kilogram (kg) is equivalent to 1000 grams (g). They represent the same amount of weight, with 1 kg being the metric unit and 1000 g being the equivalent unit in the metric system.

Convert everything to the same unit (1 kg = 1000 g), then divide.
1 answer
The unit of the product is ' g '.
1 answer
g is the abbr. of 'gram' (also 'gramme' in British English)
It a unit for the mass (weight unit). The base unit in the SI system is kilogram [kg]. 1 kg equals the mass of 1 liter [l] or 1/1000 cubic meter [m3] of water at a temperature of 4 °C (4 deg. Celsius = 277 K = 39.2 °F).
1 kg = 1000 g -> 1 g = 10−3 or 1/1000 kilogram
1 g = 5 carat ≈ 0.0353 ounces [oz] ≈ 0.00220 pound [lb]
1 answer
0.001 kg = 1 g
A kilogram is a unit 1000 times greater than a gram.

It depends on the substance. The gram is a unit of mass and millilitre is a unit of volume. One g of water, depending on the temperature is either exactly 1 ml or very close to it. Mercury is denser, so 1 g would be less than 1 ml; air is less dense, so 1 g would be more than 1 ml.

Answer 1:
1.98kg.
Here's why:
Because 1kg = 1000g,
to obtain the mass in (kg), 1980g has to be divided by 1000g.
1980/1000=1.98
Answer 2:
1 kg is equivalent to 1000 g i.e. 1 kg = 1000 g which means 1 kg/1000 g = 1.
1980 g can be written as 1980x1 g and in place of 1 we can write 1 kg/1000 g and we get:
1980 g = 1980 x 1 g = (1980 x 1 kg/1000g) g = 1980/1000 kg = 1.98 kg
Unit g cancels out.
1 answer
1 lb = 453.59237 g
505 g * (1 lb/453.59237 g) = 1.11333 lb
Therefore, 505 grams is 1.11 lbs.

Not sure what you mean, but the best guess I can make is:
What does the G in Gm, Gg, etc mean - ie as a prefix to a unit.
In this case it is a prefix of Giga- which means multiply the unit by 109 which is the same as 1,000,000,000:
1 Gm = 1 Gigametre = 1,000,000,000 m
1 Gg = 1 Gigagram = 1,000,000,000 g = 1,000,000 kg = 1,000 Mg = 1,000 tonnes = 1 Kilo-tonne
etc.

density = mass/volume
Any unit for density should have a mass unit over a volume unit. Some examples include: kg/m3, g/cm3, g/mL.

The ratio of SI unit of density (kg/m^3) to the cgs unit of density (g/cm^3) is 1000:1. This means that 1 kg/m^3 is equivalent to 1 gram/cm^3.
