It takes Mother Nature millions of years to brew a barrel of oil, but DynaMotive Energy Systems wants to dramatically accelerate the biomass to liquid fuel conversion process with its BioOil product. Clean-burning BioOil, made from forest and agricultural wastes, can be used as a substitute for fossil fuels in diesel engines, gas turbines, and boilers. BioOil, which is being tested by engine manufacturers in preparation for a commercial rollout, also can be used as raw material for fertilizer and specialty chemicals. The company has offices in Argentina, Canada, the UK, and the US.
