The box is about 2X3X3 inches or so, maybe a bit bigger and it plugs into a small wiring harness. Unplug that and you disconnect the security system. There is no mechanical odometer in these vehicles that can be disconnected. Odometer output is driven by the computer based on information from sensors on the transmission and pre-programmed information about axle ratios, tire sizes, etc. Trying to disable this will make your vehicle not work properly, if at all.
