Dis exapatōn (‘twice a swindler’), Greek comedy by Menander, very probably the original of Plautus' Bacchides. A papyrus fragment from the play is clearly the source of lines 494–562 of Bacchides, and is the first passage in Menander of any length which has been found to correspond to a later Roman adaptation.
