Yes he did, as a matter of fact Plagueis was the master of Sideous. Unfortunately, Plagueis was the best Sith Lord around, and he told all he knew to Sideous. Then Sideous knew all about Plagueis and the past of the Jedi and Sith. Sideous, wanting to be the new Sith Lord, had killed Plagueis in his sleep, now leaving Sideous with all of the knowledge of Plagueis. So Plagueis was murdered by Sideous and that is how it had happened.

There are also Darth Bane, Darth Reven, Darth Malak, Darth Zannah, Darth Krayt, Darth Nihl, Darth Nihilus, Darth Traya, Darth Sion, Darth Talon, Lord Qordis, Lord Kaan, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Githany, Darth Plagueis, Darth Maleval, and many, many, many, others.

Darth Sidious is a Sith lord and the main villain in the Star Wars movies. A patient and manipulative person, Sidious, under the guise of Senator, and later Chancellor Palpatine orchestrated the transformation of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire. He also played on Anakin Skywalker's fears in order to turn him to the Dark Side and dub him Darth Vader, whom he then order to help wipe out the Jedi. Sidious then established himself as emperor and ruled for some years until Vader killed him to save his son, Luke Skywalker.

Dart Plagues the Wise (not whites) was a Sith Lord who developed the power to keep people he cared about alive but he never used it himself. He trained his apprentice in the most brutal ways constantly making his apprentice face his fears and things he hated. The Sith Lord's apprentice (Palpatine aka Darth Sideous) was very eager to discover the secret. Eventually the Sith Lord was getting old and told Sideous the secret to immortality with Sideous aware of the secret he did not need his master anymore and killed him in his sleep. He had the power to escape death but couldn't escape his own.

#1 it's Plagueis

#2 Since he was able to keep people from dieing he believed that he could create life using the Force and make a child from nothing made purely from the manipulation of midi-chlorians. He believed that this would create the most powerful Force User ever since he would be the physical embodiment of the Force. His apprentice Darth Sidious (aka Palpatine; aka the Emperor) saw this as Plagueis wanting to create his replacement, grew concerned over this, and decided to kill his master as he slept before he could create this being. Sidious succeeded in killing his master, but Plagueis succeeded in creating the child. The child turned out to be Anakin Skywalker.

you will have to be more specific on that one but sith lords often fight each other for power eg the story about darth Plagueis you can here about that star wars episode 3 revenge of the sith.

In the movies, we are led to believe that Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader's original persona), was the product of a virgin birth and seemed to have no biological father. This seems to be the main reason that Obi Wan felt he was the chosen one.

However, it is implied that The Emperor's (a/k/a Darth Sidious', Senator Palpatine's) predecessor - Darth Plagueis - used his powers of the Dark side of the force to manipulate the Midichlorians to to conceive Anakin. That is how Anakin came to be.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

There is some side story about Darth Maul coming back to life with machanical legs, but that's stupid and hasn't been proven as cannon. It's says that he duel Obi-Wan on Tattooine before being shot in the back of the head by Uncle Owen. I mean seriously, a Sith Lord that comes back to life is killed by a farmer with a blaster, a farmer that was easily killed but a group a stormtroopers later on. Darth Maul didn't come back to life, he died when Obi-Wan killed him.

There is some stuff that his spirit dueled with Darth Vader, but that could be Vader dueling a vision of someone who's really their in spirit, so that could be true that Maul doesn't return in body but maybe in spirit.

Darth Bane is about 5,000 years older than Darth Vader, Darth Sidious' apprentice. Darth Plageuis is close to being as young a Sith as Vader. So, Darth Bane, the first sith in thousands of years in his time to have the "Darth"-title, is thousands of years older than Plageuis.
