Spinach is another attractive garden landscaping plant that is easy to grow and has a great deal of nutritional value. Spinach grows well with beans and peas because they provide nitrogen for the spinach as well as shade for this cool season plant.
By practicing companion planting, the garden landscape can provide beauty and a wide array of food. Companion planting may even cut down on the need for chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the garden landscaping, something that benefits the soil and the plants and animals living in the garden landscaping.
