Colossi is the plural of collosus, which typically refers to a statue of great size or proportion or, alternately, to an enormous and powerful person.

For example, the Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone figures of the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep III, that are part of the Theban necropolis near the Nile river.

Colossal, which shares the same word origin, has several meanings: 1) something resembling a colossus; 2) something extraordinarily large, powerful and impressive (a colossal rock formation); or 3) to an exceptional or astonishing degree (as in, a colossal failure).

Ramses 1 and Ramses 11 both built temples for their own gratification and not to the glory of the one and only god. They were in honor of man made gods, but mostly for the honor of themselves. At the entrance of the temple built out of solid rock you will see that the colossi depict Ramses II seated with his hands on his thighs. There are no statues depicting the likeness of the one and only God who was unknown to the pharaohs at that time

I am trying to make a family tree, It goes well until I get to my ancestor Vala Beldagsson. But it says his father is the Norse God Baldr, and his father Odin and then says Odin's father is some king named Frithuwald, and his father is a king named Freothalaf. It goes all the way back to some Ethiopian king named Memnon. In between to it says that they all either lived in Troy or in Asgard, Norway. Now, In find this harder to believe when I follow and worship in a reconstruction of Norse religion (I don't like saying Asatru). What do I do?
