Architectural and design partnership founded in Cambridge, MA, and in NYC in 1962, by Louis J. Bakanowsky, Peter and Ivan Chermayeff, Alden B. Christie, Paul E. Dietrich, Thomas Geismar, and Terry Rankine. The partnership's best-known works include the United States Pavilion at Expo 67 and other exhibitions, as well as graphic designs and aircraft interiors. More recent works include the North Carolina Museum of History, Raleigh (1992), and the Business Administration Center, University of Maine, Orono (1992).
