Some versions of the Bible states that this bed was 13 feet long and six feet wide but the the phrase "after the cubit of a man" is very possible to mean it was nine men long and for men wide. Remember this guy was a Giant.

A trampoline is a sheet or web of flexible material (usually heavy fabric) that is supported by springs in a metal frame. It is used for jumping and aerobic exercise.
A sheet could be part of a trampoline, but not webbing (too dangerous and may trap the user's feet). So, webbing supported by springs could be used in a bedstead.

The Saxon bed was usually made up against a wall, as a type of bunk or cabin, sometimes in a recess, with a rough mattress placed on boards, together with covers, and curtains suspended from above. The curtains could be tightly drawn at night to keep draughts and light out, while keeping warmth and also illness in. The bedstead was a term used to denote the place, or stead, in which the bed was made, but when the bench was superseded by more elegant pieces of furniture, it still retained the now familiar name. At no time was the canopy used to keep critters and droppings from falling on the bed and persons sleeping.

Small house in New York surrounded by apartments.
The kitchen at center seems actual enough, for there is a kitchen table with three chairs, and a refrigerator. But no other fixtures are seen. At the back of the kitchen
there is a draped entrance, which leads to the living room. To the right of the kitchen, on a level raised two feet, is a bedroom furnished only with a brass bedstead and a straight chair. On a shelf over the bed a silver athletic trophy stands. A window opens onto the apartment house at the side. Behind the kitchen, on a level raised six and a half feet, is the boys' bedroom, at present barely visible. Two beds are dimly seen,
and at the back of the room a dormer window. (This bedroom is above the unseen living room.) At the left a stairway curves up to it from the kitchen.

I heard on a programme about dreams that your brain has a buffer, a bit like a computer buffer, that can take incoming data (like a tap on the shoulder) hold it in store for a split second and allow you to create a short dream that allows the input to make sense. Like when there is a fire in your dream and the fire bell is actually your alarm going off. I remember once having a dream where my bare foot touched something really hot and I jumped awake to find that the blankets had come off my foot and I had actually touched the iron bedstead (which was in fact very cold!).

The Colossus was setup for desired tests by the operator inserting plugs in sockets and setting switches. This meant the Colossus took some time for each setup to be made and checked for correctness before it could begin working on the cipher text, which was punched on paper tape and threaded around the pulleys of the "bedstead" so that a motor could move it past the photomultiplier tubes which read the cipher text at 5000 characters per second.
It usually took several different tests for Colossus to extract enough analysis statistics to generate a possible group of wheel settings, which would then be tried on a Tunny machine to see if they produced readable plain text German for that message. If they produced gibberish the operator would have to begin all over again on the Colossus, selecting different tests in the hopes of generating a better possible group of wheel settings.

We cannot say how long it will take to get there nor how long a visit will last as these are very subjective questions.
It will take longer to travel to the museum at weekends and during school holidays. During school holidays there is normally a significant queue, especially first thing in the morning. This queue can be anything up to 2 hours long, sometimes longer. The Natural History museum around the corner has even longer queues.
The Science museum is an extremely large museum featuring a great many different displays. The length of your visit will depend upon how long you linger over such things as: Watson and Crick's actual DNA model, Stephenson's Rocket and the Flying Bedstead.
As a guide it took a family with 3 children under 7 (with associated short attention spans) a day to see approximately 1/4 of the museum in passing. An indepth visit with older children or just adults would take significantly longer.
The Natural History museum is considerably larger and more complex and a visit there will take much longer.

Elisha Otis is known for building the first modern passenger elevator which used his invention of a safety device which prevented the car from falling if the cables broke.
The elevator safety brake was first demonstrated at the Crystal Palace Exposition in New York in 1854. After ascending in his new elevator, Otis called for the elevator's cable to be cut with an axe. Instead of falling, the elevator platform held, secured by a brake using toothed guiderails in the elevator shaft and a spring-loaded bar that automatically caught in the toothed rail of the elevator car if the cable failed. Today, the Otis Elevator Company is the world's largest company in the manufacture and service of elevators, escalators, moving walks and people-moving equipment.

The subhead of the recently published novel, The Ninth Generation, - Conquering the Giants, speaks of a race of beings described in ancient history who were ultimately destroyed. Their once fearful size is strongly supported by the manuscript evidence of Deuteronomy 3:11 - "For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was the length thereof…" Based on the length of a cubit, Og must have stood at least thirteen feet high. Was the recorded length of the ancient giant's bed - nine cubits - a Scriptural connection with judgment? That I am not sure, but they were ultimately removed from this earth - the first time by the flood, then later by Joshua, David, and others God used.
Some scholars have attached numerical values to the letters of the Hebrew and Greek alphabet, a science known as Gematria. In analyzing the ancient books of Moses (The Torah), they have discovered that verses pertaining to judgment - as the judgment of Sodom - are characterized by values that are multiples of nine. The sieges of Jerusalem also happen to number twenty-seven (9 x 3). According to Bullinger, it is the number signifying finality or judgment. For those wishing to study this in more detail, Bullinger's classic work, Number in Scripture, is recommended.
