Hybrid - YES, alternative fuel - NO. There isn't an infrastructure setup in the USA for alternative fuels. The governement hasn't made strides in actually accepting fuel alternatives. In NJ only 15-20% of gas stations even have diesel fuel. I haven't seen a E85 fuel pump in my area yet.
