Not really a verb we use very often and it's a transient verb used with an object, usually a person. Abase means to belittle or humiliate. Most people only use the noun, abasement. I abased the clerk and got thrown out of the store.

Yes, it is forbidden and sinful in Islam, as well as in Judaism and Christianity, to have sex for wife or for husband outside marriage. It is forbidden, per religion, for man or woman to have sex without marriage. This sex outside marriage is called in Islam, in Arabic, 'Zena' .

In Quran, God says (meaning English translation):

"And go not nigh to fornication; surely it is an indecency and an evil way."

[Quran, chapter 17, verse 32]

and says:

"And they who do not call upon another god with Allah (God) and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; (68) The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; (69) Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (70) And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. (71)"

[Quran, chapter 25, verses 68-71]

that's a weird question..

of course not, in Islam the women is only allowed to have sex with her husband and the same thing for the man..

The speaker in Sonnet 16 by Elizabeth Barrett Browning describes her beloved as serene and loving, while she sees herself as unworthy of such devotion. The poem's language and images highlight the contrast between the two figures, emphasizing the beloved's virtues and the speaker's self-doubt. The central theme revolves around the disparity between the speaker's perception of herself and the idealized image of her beloved, exploring themes of self-worth and love.

Bahais -- men and women -- are supposed to work. Baha'u'llah writes:

O people of Baha! It is incumbent upon each one of you to engage in some occupation -- such as a craft, a trade or the like. We have exalted your engagement in such work to the rank of worship of the one true God....

Waste not your hours in idleness and sloth, but occupy yourselves with what will profit you and others.

(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 30)

and

... man should know his own self and recognize that which leadeth unto loftiness or lowliness, glory or abasement, wealth or poverty. Having attained the stage of fulfilment and reached his maturity, man standeth in need of wealth, and such wealth as he acquireth through crafts or professions is commendable and praiseworthy in the estimation of men of wisdom, ...

(Tablets of Baha'u'llah, p. 34)

Shoghi Effendi adds:

"Every individual, no matter how handicapped and limited he may be, is under the obligation of engaging in some work or profession, for work, specially when performed in the spirit of service, is according to Baha'u'llah a form of worship. It has not only a utilitarian purpose, but has a value in itself, because it draws us nearer to God, and enables us to better grasp His purpose for us in this world. It is obvious, therefore, that the inheritance of wealth cannot make anyone immune from daily work."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi, March 22, 1937)

Parenting is one of the things that profits ourselves and others.

The Mass is the re-presentation of Our Blessed Lord's sacrifice of Himself on Calvary for your salvation. Through the miracle of God, what you witness at Mass, under the forms of bread and wine, is the actual, historical event of Calvary. There is not difference, spiritually between your presence at Mass and Our Blessed Lady standing under the cross 2,000 years ago. Further, as many people do not realize the fullness of the honor and blessing involved in being at Mass, the Church requires the attendance of anyone who is a Catholic at Mass every single Sunday and Holy Day.

If someone hits you, don't hit them back. It's simple, but that's humility. TRUE humility would be giving them to chance to hit you again, no holds barred. That is not only truly being humble, but also makes them look like a tool. When you think of someone other than yourself. An example would be when you and your friend go out to the movies and you wanna see a movie but your friend wants to see a movie you don't wanna see. But if you act humble you see the movie your friend wants to see. That's what I think humble means.

Only you can decide what is true. There is nothing wrong with questioning belief and learning about yourself. Read, learn, and ask questions until you know for yourself what is true.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

The word "Christians" was first coined in the Gentile town of Antioch [Acts 11:26]. And it wasn't those followers of Jesus Christ to whom Paul preached that year who called themselves by that moniker. It was a label of derision placed upon them by the unbelievers in the town!

King Agrippa later spit that "vile, derisive name" out from between clenched teeth at Paul during his trial:

"Agrippa interrupted him. 'Do you think you can make me a Christian so quickly?" (Acts 26:28 NLT New Living Translation)

In other words... it wasn't "their Christianity" -- those believers to whom Paul preached. Or the choice of any of the believers in Christ who followed down through history. "Christianity" belongs to the world... that hatefully gave God's servants that name of ridicule and shame. The abasement of "Christianity" belonged to the unbelievers in the town. "Christianity" wasn't "true" to those folks who hated what Paul preached to their former friends and relatives, whom they believed Paul was deceiving with his "lies."

Peter, also, recognized the negativity of the word "Christian" to Christ's "little flock":

"Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the Glorious Spirit of God will come upon you. If you suffer, however, it must be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people's affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by His Wonderful Name!" (I Peter 4:14-16 NLT)

That Wonderful Name that this world hates with a passion.

"Christianity" belongs to the world. That name is not the choice of God's True servants... it's the name the world gave to them. So, "Christianity" doesn't belong to God's True church; it belongs to the apostate church that later emerged in the world as an acceptable religion among all the other accepted false religions in the world.

"...'Don't let anyone mislead you. For many will come in My Name, saying, ''I am the Messiah." They will lead many astray.'" (Matt.24:4-5 NLT) [This is Jesus Christ's private end time interpretation of the First Seal of Revelation 6; the rider of the famous White Horse. A massive false "Christianity" by which the "many" in the world will be led astray.]

Modern professing "Christianity" is NOT TRUE. It is not in accordance with God's Inspired, Sacred Word; His Laws and Commandments. The false "Christianity" of this world belongs to the world. And those who have been taken in by it... who believe it to be "their Christianity" [each and every one of the hundreds of the separate denominations of them]... believe all of its fables and falsehoods, all of its pagan-based customs and traditions to be true -- without ever having read or studied or proved it from God's Word.

But a True servant of God, while they should not be ashamed of the name; yet be too humble to say, "I am a Christian."

They should be saying, "It is not my Christianity... for I am not worthy of that Hallowed, Sacred Name."

"He chose me... I did not choose Him. I am His; He is not mine."

"He is my Master; I am His servant."

"It's not: 'Do I know Him' -- it's: 'Does He know me?'"

And: "If anything is right about me; it is He within me that is Right and True!"

The Qur'an is a respected and revered book in the sight of Muslims. For Muslims, since the Qur'an is from God, it is the most important source of guidance. Therefore, Muslims use the Qur'an as a guide on how to live one's life and also to confirm and increase their 'iman' (tranquility achieved after knowing that one is acting in obedience to God and that he or she is striving in his path).
