There are millions! But I'll give you some really good ones. Dealing With Dragons and the sequels by Patricia C. Wrede Heir Apparent, User Unfriendly, Dragon's Bait, and other books by Vivian Vande Velde Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and others by Gail Carson Levine Diana Wynne Jones writes awesome books! Try The Lives of Christopher Chant, Charmed Life, Howl's Moving Castle, and all her other ones. They're great! The Cry of Icemark seems to be getting fairly popular. Christopher Paolini and Cornelia Funke also write well-known fantasy, if you haven't read them yet. There's also the Harry Potter series. :-D There are a lot more! If you're still curious for more, ask your friends, teachers, or librarians. I'm sure they could recomend a good few for you to try.

The Middle Ages are associated with an era of romance, chivalry, honor and royalty. Capture the magic and fantasy of these centuries with medieval costumes for everyone in the family.
Ladies' medieval costumes come in a range of styles, from fairy princess to gothic witch. The gowns are usually floor-length but can be made shorter for a modern, flirty take on the medieval era. Many different sleeve styles are available as well - one may choose the long, flowing sleeves that match the gown hem for a fantastical, dreamlike look. Fitted sleeves with pointed hems at the wrist will portray the more queenly look of the evil stepmother character. Sleeves can even be completely open at the shoulder for bare arms that may be more comfortable in warmer temperatures. But regal gowns are not the only option for women's medieval costumes. The fun serving wench is another popular character, with full skirts and a tightly-bodiced waist that can be laced in the front or sides. Low-cut blouses with short, off-the-shoulder sleeves are also essential to this look. For either queenly or wenchly characters, long hair can be worn down with small adornments like a circlet or flower headband, or can be tied back in braids or twists. Jewelry was not common in medieval times, but the noble lady will of course have a few rings and necklaces to accentuate the outfit.
For the medieval man, lots of characters are also valid options. The chivalrous honor of a knight can be achieved without wearing the standard heavy armor - fabrics that look like chain mail will work too, such as metallic stretch knits for sleeves and leggings. Tunics or doublets should be worn with the crest or symbol of the knight's valiant house: a roaring lion, fierce eagle, or crusader's cross are just a few ideas. If the knight is not the character you're looking for, a kingly costume can easily be accomplished with a flowing royal robe and golden crown. Or, to match the wench, the serving boy or blacksmith is an easy costume to don with baggy rough-spun pants and breathable peasant shirt.
