Rosario (née Florencia Pérez Podilla;b Seville, 11 Nov. 1918). Spanish dancer. She studied with Realito and made her debut with her cousin Antonio in 1928. They became the most renowned Spanish dance partnership of their generation and toured all around the world. She danced briefly with Iglesias (1953-4) and performed again with Antonio during his 1964 seasons in London and New York. She also assembled various ensembles of her own with which she performed and for which she created several works including Capriccio espagnol (mus. Rimsky-Korsakov) and Café de Burrero (Andalusian folk music).
