It depends where you are. If you're at Badwater it is the deepest spot in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level. If you're at Dante's view overlooking the valley from the East you're around 5,000 feet, and if you're looking down from Telescope Peak it is 11,043 feet tall.
