n., pl. -ties.
  1. Exceptionally great concentration, power, or force.
  2. Physics. The amount or degree of strength of electricity, light, heat, or sound per unit area or volume.
    1. The strength of a color, especially the degree to which it lacks its complementary color.
    2. See saturation (sense 5).

 
 

Cost consumed by each unit of the activity driver. It is assumed that the intensity of each unit of the activity driver for a single activity is equal. Unequal intensity means that the activity should be broken into smaller activities or that a different activity driver should be chosen. See also Diversity.
